Bob is a creative, technical problem solver with superb verbal and written communication skills, combined with proven technical, business planning, business development and marketing experience. He is highly experienced in advanced transportation technology-related business building, opportunity analysis and relationship building. He has particular skills and experience in the use of advanced data analysis techniques, Big Data and performance management systems. He has written more than 40 papers on advanced transportation technology subjects and two books on system architecture and traveler information systems. Bob serves as an Industry Consultant for Teradata Government Solutions dedicated to assisting public agencies and other enterprises to understand the effects of technology investments and harness the full potential of advanced transportation technologies, including big data and analytics techniques. Bob has a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland and an MSc in Highways and Transport from the City University, London.
